Trenell’s Rescue Auto

This agreement outlines the relationship between Trenell’s Rescue Auto and the independent contractor providing roadside assistance services.


Contractor Status

All service providers working with Trenell’s Rescue Auto operate as independent contractors and not employees.

Independent contractors are responsible for managing their own work activities and providing services using their own vehicles, equipment, and tools.

Nothing in this agreement creates an employer-employee relationship.


Contractor Responsibilities

Independent contractors agree to:

• Maintain a valid driver’s license
• Maintain active vehicle insurance
• Provide their own vehicle and equipment
• Ensure their vehicle is safe and properly maintained
• Perform services professionally and safely
• Follow all local, state, and federal laws

Contractors are responsible for all costs associated with operating their vehicles and equipment.


Equipment Requirements

Contractors must maintain the necessary tools required to perform roadside services, which may include:

• Jump starter pack
• Tire changing tools
• Vehicle jack
• Lug wrench
• Lockout tools
• Air wedges
• Fuel container
• Flashlight and safety equipment

Contractors are responsible for maintaining their equipment in safe working condition.


Contractor Liability

Independent contractors are solely responsible for:

• Any damage caused while performing services
• Damage to customer vehicles caused by negligence
• Damage to their own vehicle or equipment
• Any traffic violations or legal issues while performing services

Trenell’s Rescue Auto is not responsible for contractor negligence, equipment failure, or contractor vehicle damage.


Insurance Responsibility

Contractors must maintain appropriate vehicle insurance as required by law.

Trenell’s Rescue Auto does not provide insurance coverage for contractor vehicles, equipment, or personal property.


Payment Terms

Contractors will be paid for completed service requests according to the payment structure established by Trenell’s Rescue Auto.

Payment terms, job acceptance, and service availability may vary depending on service demand and contractor availability.

Trenell’s Rescue Auto does not guarantee a minimum number of service requests.


Independent Business Operation

Contractors operate their own independent businesses and are responsible for:

• Their own taxes
• Their own insurance
• Their own expenses

Contractors will receive tax documentation when required by law.


Indemnification

Contractors agree to hold Trenell’s Rescue Auto harmless from any claims, damages, or liabilities arising from the contractor’s actions while performing services.


Termination of Agreement

Trenell’s Rescue Auto reserves the right to terminate this agreement at any time for reasons including but not limited to:

• Unsafe behavior
• Customer complaints
• Failure to maintain required documentation
• Damage to customer vehicles
• Misrepresentation or misconduct


Agreement Acknowledgment

By accepting service opportunities through Trenell’s Rescue Auto, the contractor acknowledges and agrees to the terms outlined in this agreement.
